From Hard Corps to Insanity~

So I just finished up 16 weeks of Hard Corps and  I can't say that I had a great physical transformation, but that that is because my nutrition hasn't been the best.  With Easter, traveling and a few birthdays I have been more relaxed with my eating habits.  What I can say is that even thou I didn't always eat clean the program really gives immediate results when I was being mindful of my clean eating.  I can tell you that I am stronger than when I started...I am able to do more pull ups and push ups. All in all...when you look at my experience with Hard Corps I am happy to say that I love the ease of a 22 minute workout and glad to add it to my fitness library.  I will definitely pull it out when I am in a time crunch and will give this one another go around at some point. Something about turning 46 made made me want to tackle Insanity Max 30 as my next program. I guess just because I am another year older doesn't mean I need to feel it, and the name just says

Chicken Fajitas

Chicken Fajitas When the sun is shining and it is in the 70's,  I feel the need to dine outdoors!!  Now the question...what to make??  Something quick obviously...So what ?!?!?   Fajitas and margaritas immediately came to mind yesterday!!  Love me some Mexican!!! Hard to believe I didn't have my camera in hand, but I didn't!!!!  So for now you will have to look at today's left over pic from my lunch!  You can't get a more unprocessed meal than fajitas!!  I don't use those seasoning packets loaded with crap, I only use real spice.  Check out my recipe below!! Grilled Pepper Jack Chicken Isn't everything better with cheese?!?!?  Well everyone at this house thinks that it is!!  The one thing that I learned over the years is that when you place restrictions and focus on what you CAN'T have... you will always feel like you are depriving yourself and setting yourself up for challenges.  You need to focus on Moderation!!!  By following an 80/20 rule of thumb, you will feel satisfied and find it easier to stop the yo yo effect.  Chicken doesn't have to be boring! Skinny Peanut Butter Banana Bliss      Can I just say...everything is better with Peanut Butter!!  I am a chocoholic but sometimes I wanna change things up.  I had some vanilla shakeo, PB2 and bananas on hand and after working on my flower beds, I needed some fuel.    Let me know what you think!!   Ingredients: 4 oz almond milk 4 oz water 2 tbsp PB2 8 Oz ice 1/2  banana   Mix in blender until smooth top with chocolate sprinkles. enjoy!!
